The top 10 environmental activist groups have half billion dollar annual budgets and 15 million members at their disposal to help advance their radical agendas. Two groups in particular, the NRDC and the Sierra Club, have combined annual budgets of more than $200 million and memberships of 3 million. Whether these groups seek to achieve their goals through grassroots campaigns, political advocacy, or direct action, it’s clear that the modern environmentalist movement is one of the biggest interest groups in existence today.
